Steve Jobs
They Still Fit
A father finds a pair of jeans that offers him one more moment with a lost friend. His daughters must pull him back before the past takes him for good. This screenplay sample moves from domestic humor into analog horror and a story about grief.
Beyond the Cubicle and Other Stories
Five stories from my collection turn familiar workplaces into strange, funny, and unsettling places. Deadlines come alive, elevators go sideways, and ordinary employees find ways to push back.
The Grammar Killer
In this horror screenplay, a buried warning turns language into a weapon. The Grammar Killer pairs slasher scares with a question at its center: what happens when someone is right about the harm but wrong about how to stop it?
The Question is the Question
Twelve poems from a larger collection about mental health, family, identity, horror, and making art. These selections move between fear and humor while returning to one question: what comes next?
The Family Discount
A six-page comic script written for my Full Sail coursework. Three suspicious friends dig beneath a heavily watched store, convinced they’ll find hidden medicine, and discover they may have misunderstood the person they came to confront.
The Bolo Man
Twelve poems from a larger collection about mental health, family, identity, horror, and making art. These selections move between fear and humor while returning to one question: what comes next?
Dark Deterrent
Dark Deterrent
A psychological action game concept where dialogue can hit as hard as combat. This portfolio follows the project from its first premise through character development, branching boss dialogue, an opening cutscene, and a developer pitch. It also includes original poster and character concept art.
Zero Gravity Hearts
A six-page comic script set in a lunar shopping mall, where a zero-gravity promotion spirals into chaos. The sample highlights visual pacing, page turns, and distinct character voices.
Cypress Creek
An interactive mystery scene in which a brass key and severed wire challenge a sheriff’s closed-case ruling. Three approaches and six outcomes show how player choice can change both the investigation and a relationship.
Freewrite
Selected pages from my personal notebook capture ideas in motion: late-night reflection, a turning point in Austin, and early story planning. They offer a glimpse of my creative process before the polish.
Hitrecord
Nine pieces from my Museachilles HitRecord archive span speculative fiction, humor, poetry, and personal reflection. Each selection preserves the original writing and links to its published record.
Writing Across the Web
Selected Writing Across the Web brings together published fiction, horror and film criticism, poetry, personal essays, and creative commentary from across my work on Vocal, Letterboxd, LinkedIn, The Frank Portfolio, and Republic. The collection highlights the evolution of my voice as Frank Questionmark, moving between experimental storytelling, genre criticism, independent-film advocacy, and personal reflection while exploring horror, memory, identity, technology, and the strange corners of everyday life.
Websites
The Writing & Backstories Behind the Websites explores how I developed the voices, lore, navigation, and storytelling systems behind my interconnected digital projects. Moving from kid-safe cosmic creativity and cozy cryptid field files to adult workbooks, fan-made ARGs, publishing hubs, and original analog horror, this case study shows how I use web writing as both communication and worldbuilding, turning buttons, archives, signals, and strange little pages into entrances to larger stories.
NSCS
NSCS: Scholarship, Leadership & Service documents my involvement with The National Society of Collegiate Scholars at Full Sail University from 2024–2025. The portfolio traces my growth from new member and Scholar Central contributor to Top Contributor recognition, chapter leadership activity, student outreach, and mental-health advocacy. It highlights how I used writing, creative communication, and community engagement to support fellow students while connecting scholarship, leadership, service, and storytelling.
